Our Story

The Story Behind Road Trip Co.

I think I was born with the need to wander.

When I was about three years old, I would wander down the street just to see where I could go, leaving my parents frantically trying to figure out where I had disappeared to. As I got older, that curiosity never went away. Before I could drive, I rode my bike all over the back roads, exploring anywhere I could reach. Once I got my driver's license, the map just got bigger.

Even today, I’ll be driving somewhere and catch a glimpse of a road as I pass. Maybe it curves through the trees or disappears over a hill, and for the next several miles I’m wondering:

Where does that road go?

Does it keep winding through the hills? Is there an old bridge down there? A forgotten little town? A waterfall, roadside oddity, hidden overlook, or someplace I never knew existed?

Sometimes you just have to take the turn.

That feeling is what inspired Road Trip Co.

I believe an adventure doesn't have to be a two-week vacation or a cross-country journey. Sometimes it's a Saturday afternoon, a half tank of gas, and a road you've never driven before.

It's finding the hidden gems, quirky roadside stops, small towns, scenic highways, and unexpected places that turn an ordinary drive into a memory.
